LUANGWA TOWN COUNCIL ORIENTS DATA ENTRY CLERKS ON REVISED CASH FOR WORK DATA CAPTURE TOOL

Luangwa Town Council on 13th July, 2026 conducted an orientation session for Data Entry Clerks under the Revised Cash for Work Programme.
The orientation focused on the configuration and use of the revised Cash for Work data capture tool to ensure accurate, efficient, and consistent collection and management of programme data.
The session also included the signing of six-month employment contracts by the Data Entry Clerks, officially marking the commencement of their engagement under the Revised Cash for Work Programme.
Participants were equipped with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively operate the revised data capture system, thereby promoting accuracy, consistency, and timely data entry throughout programme implementation.
Meanwhile, recruitment for the Revised Cash for Work Programme commenced on 14th July, 2026, across Luangwa District, with eligible community members being registered to participate in the programme.
Under the recruitment exercise, 10 beneficiaries will be selected from each of the following wards: Mandombe, Dzalo, Chikoma, Mwalilia M’Kaliva, and Kavula.
Additionally, 9 beneficiaries will be selected from each of the following wards: Mankhokwe, Kaluluzi, Kaunga, Mburuma, Katondwe, Lunya, Chiriwe, Kapoche, Kabowo, Mphuka, and Phwazi.
A total of 159 beneficiaries will be recruited across Luangwa District under the Revised Cash for Work Programme.The recruitment exercise is scheduled to run from 13th to 15th July, 2026.
